What does a digital product cost from idea to launch?
It depends on how much has to exist before real users can try it. At Dotbite we usually split this into a short concept phase, then a first version with a fixed price. That way you spend a small amount to find out what the full build is worth before committing to it.
How does a project run from strategy to launch?
We start by understanding the business well enough to decide what to build first. Then requirements, design and prototyping, followed by development in phases. You see something working early, and each phase ends with a decision point rather than a surprise.
Can we start with a small version?
Yes, and for new products we usually recommend it. A first version aimed at your riskiest assumption costs a fraction of a full build and tells you whether the idea holds. The code carries forward, so nothing gets thrown away when you scale it up.
Do you take on only parts, like design or development?
Yes. Some clients bring their own designers and need engineering, others have a technical team and want the product side. We work in either shape. Where handovers between two suppliers usually go wrong, we can cover both ends instead.
What happens after the launch?
We stay on for features, monitoring and maintenance. The launch is where a product starts earning, and most of the decisions that determine whether it still works in three years happen after it goes live.
