What does a Laravel project cost?
Every project is priced on its actual requirements. At Dotbite we work those out with you in a requirements phase, then quote a fixed price against the written specification. For ongoing development of an existing application we can also use a framework agreement instead. Either way you know the cost before the work starts.
How long does it take to build a Laravel application?
Small applications can be live in about four weeks. Complex platforms and web apps run twelve weeks or more, and scope is what decides it. We work in phases so you get something usable early instead of waiting months for one large release.
Why Laravel instead of another framework?
Laravel covers most of what a business application needs without extra libraries. Authentication, queues, scheduling and testing all ship with the framework, which means less custom glue code and easier hiring later. When a project fits another stack better, we say so before you commit.
What happens after the launch?
We monitor the application, ship security and dependency updates on a schedule, and handle Laravel version upgrades before they become urgent. New features come from the same developers who built it, so nobody has to read into your codebase first.
Can you take over an existing Laravel project?
Yes. Most of our work is building new systems, but we take on existing codebases as well. We read yours first and tell you honestly what we find, including what needs fixing before new features make sense. From there we extend it or upgrade it in steps that keep the application running.
